Annual review

Your Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) must be reviewed and updated at least annually.

The CEMP must be reviewed and updated at least annually (F.S. 393.067(8); F.A.C. 65G-2.010). It's an annual review item, not a one-and-done document.

Worth knowing what's not mandated on a fixed cadence: non-fire disaster drills (hurricane, power-outage) are good practice and good evidence, but only the monthly fire drill is the hard requirement. Running the others is smart; skipping them isn't itself a fire-drill-style violation.

The annual review is the requirement — a CEMP written once and never revisited is a gap even if nothing changed.
